Who We Are

The Stearns Group LLC (“TSG,” “we,” “us”) is a healthcare business consulting firm. This policy explains what we collect through thestearns-group.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to this website. It does not govern information we handle under a signed client agreement, which is addressed in that agreement.

What We Collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. That is:

• Your email address, if you subscribe to our notes for practice owners
• The answers you provide if you complete our services inquiry form, which may include your name, contact details, practice name, discipline, location, stage and the help you are looking for
• The name, email address and scheduling details you provide when you book a call with us
• Anything you choose to put in an email you send us

We do not run advertising trackers on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors who never contact us.

How We Use It

• To send the notes you asked for, and nothing else, if you only subscribed
• To respond to an inquiry, assess whether we are a fit, and prepare for a conversation
• To schedule, confirm and follow up on calls
• To keep our own records of who we have spoken with and about what

Service Providers

We use third-party tools to run this site and our communications, and your information passes through them. Each is bound by its own privacy terms:

• Netlify, which hosts this site and receives subscribe submissions
• Google, which hosts our inquiry form and its responses
• Klaviyo, which stores our email list and sends our notes
• Make, which passes subscribe submissions to Klaviyo
• Cal.com, which handles scheduling

What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do not use it to target advertising to you anywhere.

How Long We Keep It

We keep subscriber email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. We keep inquiry responses and correspondence for as long as we may reasonably need them for business and recordkeeping purposes, and we delete them on request unless we are required to retain them.

Your Choices

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. You can also write to us at any time to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will do it, and we will not make you explain why.

Security

We use reputable providers and limit access to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent over the internet.

Children

This site is meant for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle information already collected will be communicated to subscribers by email.
